Make A Houseplant Thaumatrope

Kids and adults alike will enjoy making a houseplant thaumatrope.

A thaumatrope (THAW-muh-trope) creates an illusion based on how your brain processes information from your eyes. Visit The Franklin Institute for further information on what is happening in your brain when you spin the thaumatrope.

Print this foliage and cacti template and make your own thaumatrope.

Line up a 8 inch bamboo skewer on the circle with the pot and tape. Brush glue on the circle and attach the plant circle.
